Formula E Mexico 2016
The 2016 Mexico City ePrix was the 4th round of the 2nd season of the FIA Formula E Championship. The race took place on March 12, at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. The circuit, which is inside the city's Formula 1 circuit, was slightly modified from the previous year's layout, with a new chicane added.
The race saw 18 drivers representing 9 teams compete for victory, including defending champion Nelson Piquet Jr. and Formula 1 veteran Nick Heidfeld. The race was mainly dominated by Lucas di Grassi, who took pole position and went on to lead every lap to secure his second victory of the season. Despite di Grassi's dominance, there was a lot of action throughout the grid.
